The Dow Chemical Project was a stimulating and prosperous job for Midwest. From The Ceilencio decoustic ceiling to the Homasote acoustic deadening wall panels, this project has been an exceptional experience for our Team. This decoustic ceiling system, with integrating panels and a unique suspension grid, offers total design flexibility and is combined with Claro tiles to create an impressive ceiling system. Our team completed two separate custom sized boardroom ceilings, full height walls, and an open ceiling concept. All the walls had to be finished to the slab and had ½-inch continuous reveals, where it met the walls at the concrete.

A sound barrier was included in a couple of the rooms; our team applied this between the framing and the drywall. The Homasote 440 Sound Barrier, is a special-density, structural board made from 100 percent environmental Homasote with protection against rot, fungi and has resistance to moisture. It also insulates, with twice the R-value of wood.
